Hi prayer partners,<\/p>\n
Thank you for your continued prayers.\u00a0 We moved equipment into the mission Sunday afternoon and began with a short family program that consisted of some of the kids quoting their favorite verse they had learned thus far in the previous week then a 20 minute gospel presentation by me and my “friends”.\u00a0 Following the service, we had home made ice cream (these folks had never had home made ice cream) that was a huge success.<\/p>\n
On Monday we used the day to prepare for the opening day, today.\u00a0 We made some sample crafts for the kids to see before they made theirs as well as any last minute things that needed to be done.\u00a0 Just to see that all the bases were covered.<\/p>\n
So, today was the day and the kids were fired up when they came in and saw “the puppet man” standing in the auditorium.\u00a0 It was awesome.\u00a0 I had the opening and the kids were very responsive and it was wild.<\/p>\n
Now to prepare for day 2.\u00a0 Things are going along well and we appreciate your prayers.\u00a0 We’ll keep in touch!<\/p>\n
