It was a good night. Lots of folks showed up and the staff was very excited at the turnout. The church, although growing, still has a “small church” mentality that the pastor and staff are trying to grow out of and this was a part of that application.<\/p>\n
The people have not had a special emphasis on kids and did not know what to expect so it was a good night and the staff told me of a number of positive comments so my prayer is the ministry can “springboard” off this success and move forward from there.<\/p>\n
Tomorrow we will head to Yazoo City to check in on parents, spend the night, then drive up to Pickwick Dam, TN, for an Associational Pastor’s\/ Deacon’s and wives banquet.<\/p>\n
