The day started when housekeeping began banging on the door before 8 a.m.\u00a0 ARE YOU KIDDING ME?\u00a0 Fortunately, we were just about ready to head out for the day so they only rushed us by a little bit.\u00a0 We went to the church around 9:15 and talked through everything with the sound guy of the Jake Smith Band.\u00a0 I did 30 minutes in between their gig.\u00a0 It was fun although difficult.<\/p>\n
Following that we headed back to the hotel where we were meeting some friends of ours and we drove into the “city”.\u00a0 New Orleans.\u00a0 Geez…..folks, that is God’s freak show.\u00a0 We walked and walked and walked and walked before finally leaving then eating out.\u00a0 It was a good day with friends.<\/p>\n
Tomorrow we will go to the church around 9:30 and gear up for the kids worship that begins at 10:45.\u00a0 Around 12:00 we’ll start the journey home.<\/p>\n
Continue to pray for us and our effectiveness toward the kids and safe travel.<\/p>\n
