Hi friends,
It was a quick trip to the gulf coast as we had a presentation at the annual Easter egg hunt at Crane Creek Baptist Church. We saw a little movement during the invitation with 1 little 9 year old girl making a profession of faith.
This morning I had the privilege of leading in worship at the church’s sunrise service. They had a great turnout and had to bring out extra chairs along with many members electing to stand.
Following that time, we had breakfast at the church, broke down and loaded all equipment then headed home.
Thank you for your prayers. Everything went well and now I’ll spend this week preparing for next Sunday in LA.
Blessings,
john

Meridian, Wednesday
It was a good closing night of services. It was a good week and God spoke to the people of Oak Hill and I am blessed and grateful.
We didn’t have a lot of outward expression during the invitation each night but quite a few would talk to me afterward about something that was said. God worked so we praise the Lord for it all.
Pray for Oak Hill Baptist Church, Rev. Mike Russell and staff as they continue the work.
I’ll head home tomorrow morning and be home for a few days before heading out. Thank you for your prayers. My strength has been good as has my voice. It’s been a good road trip with many opportunities.
Blessings,
John
Meridian, Tuesday
Again, another good service. The attendance has been good and the people have been gracious. No movement tonight during the invitation but many spoke afterwards to me personally about how something I said ministered to them. Praise the Lord!
Tomorrow we’ll wrap things up unless things really break loose and the pastor wants to continue.
We praise the Lord for your prayers and support. Couldn’t do this without them.
Blessings,
John
Meridian, Monday
It was a good night of worship. The crowd was good and the pastor was excited about the number of visitors as well as his home folks.
At the invitation, there was a good response as many came to the altar in a time of prayer for lost family and friends.
Thank you for your prayers for strength. God is answering those prayers and we are pressing on.
An update on Patty and the homefront. Patty is feeling fine, albeit a little sore from the accident. She was contacted by the insurance company of the person who hit her and took her car to the body shop today to begin the process of repairs. It’s all good and we appreciate the prayers.
Blessings,
John
Meridian, Sunday
A good day in the Lord. The church at Oak Hill was kind and responsive during the services. We didn’t see an outpouring during the invitation but many spoke to me afterwards and I feel God used what I had to say.
My voice is doing well so thank you for your prayers. Please pray that I speak exactly what God wants the people to hear.
Patty is doing better after getting back home from the accident. Again, your prayers kept her safe so keep them coming!
Next service, tomorrow night 7 p.m.
Blessings,
John
Saturday travel to Meridian
It was a bit of a weird day today. Those of you who follow this blog and ministry regularly know that Patty has battled through sickness and has not traveled in a month. Today, the plan was, she was going to drive to Meridian from home and meet me here to do the revival meeting with me. Well, she got as far as Montgomery before she was “rear ended” by an inattentive driver. She is a little sore but after police reports were taken, she very sadly, and I do mean VERY sadly, turned around and headed back home.
So, I’m here to close out a string of revival meetings and she is home recovering. Please take time from your busy schedule and pray for us.
I’m set up at the church, met with the staff tonight and am looking forward to what God is going to do.
Blessings,
John
Friday layover
In Yazoo today. laying over and resting, doing some little odd jobs around my folks house before heading out tomorrow.
I’ve got a prayer requests for you “warriors”. A friend of mine pastors in Marmaduke, AR. This past Wednesday, his son-in-law Kyle, age 26, died suddenly of a heart attack leaving a wife a little one. Pray for this family. Kyle’s wife and Kim’s daughter, April.

Earle, Wednesday
It was closing night tonight. Sorry I didn’t report last night, but I left my computer at the church. It was a good night last night. The crowd was up and we had one profession of faith.
Tonight’s crowd was the largest of the week with about 100 present. Pray for Earle Baptist Church. Pray for their vision and the leadership of the pastor, Dr. Steve Bailey. The field is ripe unto harvest so pray that the people will see this and catch the vision needed to be the church God wants them to be.
Your prayers on my behalf have been a tremendous blessing. I feel strong, as does my voice.
Tomorrow I will drive to Yazoo City to check on my parents and visit for a couple of days before heading to my next revival in Meridian, MS, on Sunday.
Blessings,
John
Earle, Monday
Whew! What a day! I spoke to the pastors of Tri County Baptist Association this morning for a bit then there was visiting and lunch. After lunch my host pastor and I headed back to the church to load the necessary equipment for the school program. We got to the school around 1:30 to set everything up with the program scheduled around 2:15. I was told to go until around 2:45 when they would line the kids up for bus and parent pickup. Well, the kids started coming in to the gym around 1:45. Yep…30 minutes before time. (it seems there was a “glitch” in the memo from the principle. So, at 2:00 I began and went for 45 minutes with the elementary group. It was fun but very tiring.
The service began at 7 p.m. tonight with a pretty good turnout including some of the kids from the school. The pastor was encouraged as were some of the church members who desire growth and outgreach.
Tomorrow’s activities will be a little lighter tomorrow as I focus on the evening’s service and catch up on a little “road work”.
I appreciate your prayers for continued strength. It is making a difference so please keep it up. My voice, again, is weakening just a bit so prayer coverage there would be appreciated.
Blessings,
John
Earle, Sunday
It was a good day. A little of a rough start which is not totally unusual. Accomp are used to doing things a certain way and comfortable with it and when I come in and do things a little different, there can be “kinks” but everything worked out and all is good.
The pastor told me there was real victory tonight when 3 different people showed up tonight that the church had been praying for a very long time. He said the people really were excited to see God answer their prayers. There was no movement during the invitation but God is obviously working.
Pray for strength. I am speaking at the pastor’s conference tomorrow morning and at the elementary school tomorrow afternoon as well as, of course, the service tomorrow evening.
Blessings,
John
