Hi friends,

Had a great night tonight.  We arrived at the church around 5 p.m. to set up.  Our intentions were to patch into the worship center’s sound system.  I do that many times.  While moving things in we were told that an older member of the church had died and that the funeral would be at the church in the morning.  That meant breaking down and moving things out of the sanctuary.  Well, it was a strange set up in that my sound and the church sound just didn’t want to work together.  That meant me setting up my touring system.  Yuk!  The sound is always great but the extra work particularly with the funeral wasn’t something to look forward to.

Nevertheless, that’s what we did and the program came together very well.  The pastor was pleased with the turnout and the kids were really responsive.  Tomorrow night is family night.  It will all begin with a hot dog supper followed by the service.  Pray as we go deeper tomorrow night, challenging each families walk.
