Hi friends,
Got notice from Long Beach yesterday that 5 were baptized this past Sunday following our revival together. Wonderful and we praise the Lord for it all.
This afternoon we will head to Yazoo City, MS, to visit family for Thanksgiving and will head back home on Saturday. We are grateful for our family (both Patty’s and my mom and dad are all living) and cherish our time with them.
We love our home family (church and community) and are very active this Christmas season entertaining and leading in several events around our city this year.
Blessings,
John

Safely Home
We arrived home around 30 minutes ago. It was a great weekend. The people of North Long Beach Baptist are wonderful and so sweet. We had good services and with another profession of faith in our last service we had a total of 4 professions of faith. Awesome!
Be in prayer for this church as they seek His leadership and the next step to being the church God wants them to be.
Thank you for your prayers.
We’ll have a little time off now and begin preparation for the Christmas programs we have coming up.
Blessings,
John
Long Beach, Saturday
It was a good service tonight. The people are so faithful and are a blessing. The same people are a little discouraged. They are working pretty hard trying to reach out and invite others but not many are taking their invitation.
The 3 that I asked you to pray about that they would have the courage to come forward did indeed come forward and this excited the sweet fellowship.
Pray for services tomorrow. We’ll have the morning service followed by lunch and an afternoon service. Our plan, Lord willing, is to head home after we’ve finished the afternoon service and loading equipment.
Your prayers are much appreciated.
Blessings,
John
Friday Night’s Service
It was a good night. The report to me was they were pretty pleased with the crowd although they could name several members who were not there.
The night closed out with 3 professions of faith. Awesome ending to the night!
Continue to pray. Pray for attendance, courage for the 3 to make their decisions public by coming forward at the invitation and pray that I am clear in my message.
Blessings,
John
Long Beach, Friday
We arrived yesterday evening and unloaded. This morning we headed to the church following breakfast and set up everything getting ready for the night. Pray that God will be allowed to move and work freely and that He will have is Way in the service.
Blessings,
John
Long Beach, MS
Hi folks,
We are heading out in about an hour for Long Beach, MS, and North Long Beach Baptist Church where we will begin revival services tomorrow night through Sunday afternoon. Pray that God will break through in the hearts and minds of everyone in attendance and that He will have His will and way.
Blessings,
John
Home
Thank you for your prayers. It was a long day that had us unloading the borrowed trailer, loading the newly repaired trailer and swapping them out in Corinth, MS. Thanks to my special friends in Flat Rock that took the time and expense to keep this ministry going.
We left there and began a rather long and tiring trip through tropical storm Ida but we have arrived safely and now for a day of rest and prep for the upcoming revival in Long Beach, MS.
Blessings,
JOhn
Great Night
It was a good night as 40 Directors of Mission from around the state of TN along with their wives shared in our time together. Gladys the Church-lady and The Professor had a good time and I got a lot of positive feedback!
Thanks for the prayers and we appreciate you keeping us in your prayers as we travel home tomorrow and face the rain!
Blessings,
John
Banquet, part 1
It’s afternoon here in TN. In about an hr. we’ll head to Jackson and get ready set up for the banquet. The State Baptist Convention is going on right now and this banquet is designated for the DOM (director of missions) of all associations. Dinner followed by me. Hope they all enjoy it! I’ll give you an update when we return.
Blessings,
John
Heading Out
Hi friends,
Well, tomorrow is going to be a longer day than usual but it will be a good one. We will be in our church service in the morning celebrating our veterans in a big “Veterans Day Celebration”. Following the second morning service we’ll head to Halls, TN, where we will spend the night with friends then Monday I’ll be doing a banquet for the TN State Baptist Director of Missions held at Union University in Jackson, TN.
On Tuesday we’ll head back. Thank you for your continued prayers for safety and vehicle reliability. Remember, WE NEED YOU!!
Blessings,
John
